One Touch Location App (iPhone, Android)
One Touch Location is discontinued since 30.09.2020
In the beginning of August 2020, we announced the discontinuation of One Touch Location by the end of September 2020 (Twitter, Facebook). Instead of launching the update to 5.0 Corona in summer 2020, we had to shut down the GPS tracking application that we’ve first announced in 2012 and burry it completely. Due to a miss communication with Google developer support concerning our One Touch Location 5.0 Corona update and a following Google Play Store ban, we just cannot continue the application without Google’s consent. The integration with the Google Play Services in the app as well as the monetisation with Google’s in app payments is just too tight. Our app distribution is dependent on the OK of the data giant and gatekeeper Google.
We want to thank our users all over the world and apologise deeply for this forced action. Thank you for your continued trust since 2013! Please follow creative workline’s Twitter account or like our Facebook page, because the GPS tracking technology software of One Touch Location 5.0 we have build is just too good to be buried forever. We most probably will be back under a different name and without Corona in the future.

GPS-Tracking das einfach funktioniert!
Mit der „One Touch Location“ App kann der User den eigenen Standort einfach und schnell verschicken sowie aufzeichnen. Mit One Touch Location für iPhone und Android können Sie
- Ihre Position ganz einfach mit Freunden teilen (SHARE),
- GPS-Tracks aufzeichnen und online über Google Maps abrufen und teilen (TRACK), sowie in der Android Version zusätzlich
- interessante Orte in der Umgebung automatisch suchen lassen und finden (EXPLORE)
Die von uns konzipierte, designte, entwickelte und vermarktete App für das iPhone und Android Smartphones besticht dabei durch Einfachheit. „Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication“ (Leonardo da Vinci).
Die App wurde bereits über 100.000 mal herunter geladen und mit 4+ Sternen im Play Store und Apple iTunes bewertet. Eine werbeunterstützte Free-Version kann durch In-App-Billing in eine Pro-Variante mit zusätzlichen Features upgegraded werden.
Das Besondere an One Touch Location ist, dass seit Version 2 auch eine Tracking-Funktionalität integriert ist. Damit lässt sich die eigene Position laufend an einen Server in der Cloud übertragen, und ist über einen geschützten Link auf einer persönlichen Profilseite von überall abrufbar. Die Server- und Web-Komponente inkl. RESTful JSON Schnittstelle wurde auf Basis von Google App Engine (GAE) und NoSQL ebenfalls von uns entwickelt.
Seit Version 3 für Android kann der User mit der App auch seine Umgebung nach interessanten Orten (POIs – Points of Interest) erkunden. Dazu greifen wir auf die weltweite Datenbasis von Foursquare zurück.
